Comments about Vivitar ViviCam 5399 Digital Camera:
This is a great little camera for the price. We are headed to Hawaii and are thrilled with the size of the screen, and size and weight of the camera. The test pics so far in our pool are great- not perfect but better than you would expect for the price.

Comments about Vivitar ViviCam 5399 Digital Camera:
I'm a free diver and I wanted a small camera that I could use underwater to capture some of the cool things I see when I'm diving . I live in Hot Springs Arkansas and Photography is my hobby . But finding a housing for my DSLR camera is and expensive undertaking . So , I looked on your site and found this little Vivitar Vivicam 5399 and I just love it ! Yesterday I decided to use its video feature to record my dives and since it shows how long the video runs I can clock my underwater dive time time. Which is great when you want to advance how long you stay underwater and replaying the videos and uploading them to social networking sites is a great way to share what I do with others . [...]

Comments about Vivitar ViviCam 5399 Digital Camera:
We bought this camera because disposable underwater cameras are pretty expensive after developing, and don't take great photos. The photos were pretty good on this camera, but it's a bit hard to use because the case blocks the viewfinder. Still, if you aim well and shoot, it works great.
It's a very lightweight, convenient camera. Using triple A batteries is really easy, and the batteries seemed to last a long time. Also recommend keeping the flash on all the time.

I have used this camera quite a few times now and I absolutely LOVE IT! My friends are always amazed by the fact its a water proof camera with a view screen etc. I love it! The only negative is taking self photos is basically impossible unless your arms are like stretch armstrong. :)

Comments about Vivitar ViviCam 5399 Digital Camera:
I purchased this camera as a cheap little back-up camera for work, but when it arrived i quickly saw and felt that I had made a mistake as it build quality was less than my cheap Nokia cell phone.
Still I pressed on and loaded my AAA Batteries and my 2 Gb Sd card and went out to test it. Over 50% of the photos were not usable as they where twisted and the balance were just really bad. How bad you ask well I used my cheap nokia cell phone camera and the photos where much much better!
This is not a good product unless you are using it for a Paper Weight or Abstract Photos!
My advice spend a little more and stay away from this product.
