This is a very durable and excelllebnt accessory.However, it you get a bottm exit K-tek pole, you wiull need to contact K-Tek about the mushroom bottom that is shown in the photo above. [...] If you have a side exit pole that already had a mushroom bumper, you're set.In use, I like the weight of the transmitter off-set on the pole. it helps counterbalance the weight of the mic and the mic mount, especially if you use a wind zep or other wind noise cancelling shield. I like the fact that it helps protect the transmitter from getting bumped around so much. This would've been nice to have several years ago when these single mic transmitters first came out!
