Zacuto's Z-DSLR-SNP DSLR Sniper is locked, loaded, and ready to fire! After six months of using DSLR's, Zacuto has made the next evolutionary leap by changing the way DSLR cameras will be used from this point forward. This Shooter is universal, quick-releasable, extremely lightweight and great for run 'n gun type shooting, as well as indie film making. They also create the correct form factor for filmmaking by utilizing Zacuto's Optical Viewfinder (Z-Finder) for precision focus.
All kits are light and easy to handle, which is critical for smooth movement and less user fatigue in both tripod and handheld use. The Gunstock Shooters come equipped with a shoulder strap for all day carrying, allowing users to go from ready position to shooting position within seconds. This also enables users to effortlessly move from tripod to handheld without a cut or interruption. The Shooters can be used with any 15mm lightweight accessories, follow focuses & matte boxes. They can also be used with or without counterbalance.
The Sniper is the exact same design as the Marksmen with one addition, the Zacuto Z-Focus and lens gears, enabling users to pull focus. The Sniper weighs 7.5 Ibs and offers five points of physical contact.

Comments about Zacuto Z-DSLR-SNP DSLR Sniper:
I plan on using this for weddings and sports, mainly sports. What is very good about this is it is a very comprehensive kit. You get this for your DSLR and you have pretty much everything you need. You can also build off of this, add and/or remove components for the type of shooting you like.
I did have to add counter weights, which really balance the rig out nicely. Although I went with the 7lb ones, on your shoulder, they don't seem heavy at all, but add to stability and balance.
The rear of the rig, beyond the shoulder mount, it would have been nice if the rods extended a little more. I feel if I use a longer heavier lens (which I intend to), I'll need to purchase the extenders, just to move the counter weights out further to help balance.
The gear is not cheap and neither are their parts. I think the follow focus is very nice, very tight and helps tremendously. The gear attachements for lenses are very expensive for what you get. To purchase 4 of them (extra), it's another 200 plus dollars. I felt that was way too high for the product. They should be more reasonable, but you are sort of stuck with it if you want to use more than one lens.
The new z-finder v2 is extremely helpful, but keep in mind that you are still limited by your LCD. Also, if you wear glasses, make sure you purchase the taller z-finder frames that attach to your camera.
Overall, I'm very happy with the product. I think it will help produce better, clearer video, with ease of use. Just being able to create new "rigs" with all their attachements and supplemental products is a great feature. Not to mention the build quality and life time warranty.
