The fun little Sony Picture Station DPP-FP97 portable Dye-Sublimation photo printer creates gorgeous 4 x 6-inch photos in about 45 seconds, and can transform a home, office or any other location into a personal photo lab. This photo printer has a tilting 3.5-inch LCD screen to preview your photos and features one-button Auto Touch-Up, including red-eye correction, white balance correction and Skin Smoothing mode to make faces look their best, before you print.
This user-friendly printer accepts 25 types of memory cards, and will accept direct transferring of images from most digital cameras. This Picture Station uses the advanced Bionz image processor and features direct HDMI output for widescreen HDTV viewing. The DPP-FP97 is lightweight and can easily be transported in a carry-on bag to birthday parties or on family trips and is the perfect addition to any scrapbooking party.

- Photo Lab Quality Prints
- Unlike inkjet printers using dot reproduction, this printer uses refined Sony Dye Sublimation technology which heat-transfers layers of color dye from a film cartridge onto specially coated paper to create continuous tone images with 256 gradations in each of three colors to make 16.77 million possible colors.
- 3-Step Operation
- Simple 3-step operation ensures that your photos come out quickly and easily without a PC, extensive set-up, or output delay. The user inserts a memory card into the built-card reader, selects and corrects the desired images and prints at the touch of a button.
- Adjustable Display
- The precision 3.5" tilt-adjustable Clear Photo LCD Display allows the user to view and check details like focus and color prior to printing.
- Multiple Ways to Print
- With support of 25 types of memory cards, transferring your photos to this printer is a snap, just insert a card into the built in card reader. You can also hook up this printer to a digital camera that supports PictBridge and print directly without a PC. Or if you want to print photos straight from your PC, you can do so via the USB port.
- Long Print Life
- This Picture Station utilizes Sony's unique lamination process, Super Coat 2, which protects photos from color shift and fading, but also makes prints resistant to water, heat and fingerprints for about 100 years. This coating is applied in the final step of the printing process.
- Auto Touch-Up
- The printer comes with an auto touch-up feature that can be engaged to correct common photo problems with the touch of a button. This feature engages technology to make subtle adjustments to white balance, shadow detail, skin smoothing, red eye reduction and focus that are made easily.
- HDMI Output
- The DPP-FP97 is equipped with an HDMI port, allowing direct HD widescreen viewing of single images or a slide show on a HDMI equipped television. 1
