With 4200 ANSI lumens brightness and a 2300:1 contrast ratio the 3M DX70i has enough projection power to fill a large auditorium even if the room has enough ambient light for the audience to take notes or refer to printed material.
Weighing about 8 lbs, the DX70i can travel the world thanks to its 100 – 240 V AC 50/60 Hz power supply and its compatibility with just about every TV standard in the world, including some of the more obscure variations: (NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL (B, D, G, H, I, M, N) and SECAM (B, D, G, K, K1, L). It's HDTV-compatible too: (480i, 480p, 525i, 576p, 720p, 750p, 1080i, 1125i).
Of course you can also plug it into a PC or Macintosh to display a PowerPoint presentation or other data. It's compatible with more than two dozen PC and Mac display modes from its native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution up to UXGA (1200 x 800) and with its two built in speakers with a two watt amplifier you won't require separate speakers in small to medium sized rooms. You can add external powered speakers for larger venues. And to bring the most to your presentations the wireless remote has a mouse function and a laser pointer.

- At 4200 ANSI Lumens the DX70i is one of the brightest projectors we've ever offered. Combine that extraordinary brightness with a 2300:1 contrast ratio and you have a projector that can output truly vivid, sharp, saturated images, even in rooms with enough ambient light to wash out the picture of lesser projectors.
- Advanced Digital Keystone Correction
- The DX70i not only gives you a bright picture it helps you get the right picture. "Keystoning" happens when the projector lens is not exactly parallel with the projection surface causing opposites sides of the image to be different lengths. You can correct keystoning plus or minus 15 degrees vertically and horizontally with the push of a button on the projector or remote.
- XGA Native Resolution with UXGA Maximum Resolution
- From XGA (1024 x 768) to UXGA (1200 x 800) and more than two dozen other PC and Macintosh resolutions, the DX70i is prepared for some serious presentations and for some serious gaming with your computer or favorite console.
- World-Wide Compatibility And HDTV
- This projector can accept from 100 to 240 volts at 50/60 Hz and it can accept and project television standards that range from the North American standard NTSC to NTSC 4.43, PAL (B, D, G, H, I, M, N) and SECAM (B, D, G, K, K1, L). It also can accept and display these STDV and HDTV standards: 480i, 480p, 525i, 576p, 720p, 750p, 1080i, 1125i.
- Wireless Remote Control with Mouse Function and Laser
- The Mouse function is especially useful when displaying computer applications that respond to mouse clicks. The remote has both left and right mouse-button functions. The laser pointer means there's one less piece of equipment to worry about when preparing your presentation. You've got one built-in to your remote.
