The American Dynamics I/O Board Mounting Base is an integrated I/O board for the SpeedDome Ultra 8. The mounting base takes care of the installation of the SpeedDome Ultra in a user-friendly manner.
The I/O board inside the mounting base is connected to the communication, power, and video cables and gets fixed to the indoor location. The camera module is twist-locked to the mounting base to prevent it from falling down.
The I/O Board Mounting Base features a spring-finger connector which is protected with a dust cover. As the camera module is affixed with the mounting base, the spring-finger connector creates the electrical contact with the board. An LED indicator, with green and red lights, shows the connectivity status of the camera module. The mounting base supports four alarm inputs and the same number of alarm outputs.
