American Dynamics ADC733 1/3" color DSP camera is an easy to use and compact camera for optimal video surveillance solutions. The camera uses DSP technology (Digital Signal Processing) with 330 TV lines resolution to provide reasonably clear images even under extreme lighting conditions. The Dual (H&V) edge enhancement feature takes care of the apparent sharpness of the overall image. The camera has extreme low light sensitivity at 0.4 Lux, which allows visibility in extreme low light conditions. The 1/3" interline color CCD allows the camera to work fast, as this CCD collects a second image while the first is being read.
The camera features automatic white balance tracking (ATW) with a range between 2,300 to 10,000 degrees Kelvin to produce clear, accurate pictures eliminating variation in video signal brightness or flicker, which is generally caused by the difference between the frequency of a video camera exposure and light source power supply.
ATW makes the picture color look more natural when viewing objects in changing color temperature. On the other hand AWB detects the white color in the scene and then automatically adjusts and stores the status. Every time the one touch AWB button is turned on, the camera automatically memorizes the adjusted white balance value to render images in accurate color. AWB is ideal for situations where there is infrequent or little change in light source.
The camera supports DC Type Auto Iris Lenses, which controls the stability of iris movement. In case the camera is using a Manual Iris Lens, the Automatic electronic shutter (AES) helps to monitor areas without using the auto iris lens. The camera also features Automatic Gain Control (AGC) which provides clear image in low light conditions. This feature needs to be switched off in bright environment. The camera supports both C & CS lens mount. It has a wide range of shutter speed varying from 1/60 to 1/100,000 seconds to capture fast movements.
The ADC733 is equipped with backlight compensation (BLC), which compensates the brightness of the subjects with a bright background that would make it practically impossible to see any details of the subjects.

Comments about American Dynamics ADC733 1/3" Color Digital CCD Camera:
We installed this camera on our remotely operated submarine. It is it is being used in deep water work. We had great success with installation and picture quality 300 feet down. The quality is there, great product!
