camRade WS HVX200/HPX170 wetSuit
The camRade WS HVX200/HPX170 wetSuit (Black) is a soft flexible, waterproof PVC cover that can be used around a camcorder with complete access to the controls, zoom and LCD monitor screen. The noiseless cotton interior fabric reduces noise from wind and rain. The cover has vinyl windows to view the controls. It has elastic and zipper closures and is packed in a zippered pocket.
This is a fitted cover designed for a Panasonic AG- HVX200 P2HD, AG-HPX170 P2HD or AG-HMC150 AVCCAM shoulder mounted camcorder.

I am an independent film maker and I have had many instances where I wanted just a bit more time but the rain clouds overhead told me "NO!" I no longer worry if a few drops come down. This fits the camera like a glove, gives easy access to the monitors and buttons. It stays fairly quiet when filming. The microphone is covered which is both good and bad, but It does give you the ability to leave it out in the rain. Tis is NOT something you would put your camera underwater in, but it will keep out most rain storms.

I bought this for my HMC150. It's a little difficult to put on, but it does cover every area of the camera (even the shotgun mic) while still making the camera controls usable. Recommended if you'll be shooting in the rain for sure.
