The VSi 585 from Boston Acoustics is a compact 2-way LCR speaker designed for discreet installation in walls. The speaker has an 8" DCD copolymer woofer with a die-cast basket and a 1" aluminum VR tweeter to deliver crisp, realistic audio with a wide frequency response. The speaker is designed for easy installation, with a reduced bezel design for seamless integration, a paintable surface to match your decor, and a magnetic grille. A boundary compensation switch allows you to tailor the speaker's sound to counteract the effects of being installed too close or far from a corner. The result is optimum sound quality, regardless of installation location.
- The 8" DCD woofer has a die-cast basket, while the 1" aluminum VR tweeter has a patented cup that acts as a heat sink, providing concert-quality audio in a compact package
