Cavision RFD15BC Basic Mini Single Wheel Follow Focus for Canon Lens
The Cavision RFD15BC is a Basic Mini Single Wheel Follow Focus mechanism for your mini-DV / prosumer camera. It provides you with a convenient, quick and precise method for controlling the focus on your camera using a knob on the side of the camera without the need to constantly reach over to the front of the lens. Follow focus systems have become a staple of professional photographers and videographers needing to frequently adjust a camera's focus according to changing scenes; hence the name "follow" focus.
Note! Rods support not included
- Optional Dual Focus/Zoom Control
- You can mount two RD15Bs on the same rods support, and then use one for focus control and the other to control zoom.
- Removable Marking Plate (Spring Loaded)
- A removable marking plate will allow you to mark focus points during rehearsal and then use those points as guides during the actual shoot.
- Compact & Lightweight
- Like your camcorder, the RFD15BC is designed to be compact and lightweight for easy transport and storage.

The Follow focus is 'eh', and has some slop, but be aware that this unit is for canon ENG lenses that have their own pitch. DSLR lens gears are all on the cine pitch standard.

It may be a problem in the shop or from vendors, as well I have the same problem that the gears rings do not match ..

You need to double check gears type because in my case for example they send me as canon type but the gear on the FF are cine kind and the rest of my investment, gears rings for example do not match.
That disappoint me a lot because the BH sales man tall me that every thing is fine....
