The XENA LHi Capture Card (Windows) from Aja is designed to bridge the gap between legacy, analog devices and the latest products using 3Gbps SDI and HDMI v1.3a. This card captures direct to disk from many formats, including DPX, Cineon, TGA, TIFF, BMP, YUV, AVI, or QuickTime.
It offers all the audio support for 16/24/32-bit AES/EBU digital audio at 48kHz for digital production. It also includes hardware, sample-rate conversion on AES inputs, thereby eliminating source synchronizing requirements.
This unit comes with a breakout cable. It can also be connected to an optional breakout box for rackmount I/O convenience.

- Use this device to interface with devices such as an HDMI-enabled camera, an HD-SDI VTR connection, and legacy analog video equipment
- It supports 3G/HD/SD-SDI input and output
- HDMI v1.3a with Deep Color at 30/36 bits per pixel is supported on input & output
- The card offers 12-bit HD analog component input & output
- 12-bit SD analog component or composite/YC input & output is also supported
- This unit features 10-bit hardware up-, down-, cross-conversion
- The card offers native support for DPX, Cineon, TGA, TIFF, BMP, YUV, AVI, and QuickTime files
- Audio support includes (2) channels of balanced XLR AES and (2) channels of balanced XLR analog audio input & output
- 8-channel SDI embedded audio input & output is supported
- This unit includes HD/SD Genlock
- LTC input is available on the reference input
- The card can be controlled via RS-422 machine control
- Plug-in support is available for Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, Adobe After Effects CS4, Photoshop CS4, Autodesk Combustion, and Eyeon Fusion
- AJA Machina software can be used to manage the card
- It comes with a standard breakout cable, but a separately available breakout box may be purchased for rackmount installation
