Ion iED16 DISCOVER DRUMS Tabletop Electronic Drum Set
The iED16 DISCOVER DRUMS from Ion are an electronic drum set that features 50 built-in sounds and the ability to run on AC or battery power. You simply plug it into the wall with the included AC adapter, pick up the included drum sticks and start playing. Each of the 4 drums pads features an LED light. DISCOVER DRUMS comes with a fun learning mode where you can learn different rhythms and timing by following the lights on each pad as they illuminate. 50 different drum patterns come built-in.
An LCD display and an easy-to-use navigation wheel make it simple to find your way around DISCOVER DRUMS. You can play preset drum kits, or assign the pads in any way you like to create your own custom drum kits. A headphone output is included for silent practice, or you can use the built-in speakers. You also have the option to run DISCOVER DRUMS on batteries so you can play anywhere you go (requires six "D" batteries).

Bought this as a step up from using Rock Band on Wii. Great sturdy product. So happy that it was shipped in a cardboard box and not just factory packaging. Provided protection for the drum set and could be kept a secret for CHristmas present.
