The Case Logic SLRC-201 SLR Zoom Holster (Black) is designed to carry and protect most digital SLR cameras with a zoom lens attached. The case is made from nylon with a memory foam interior to protect the LCD screen. There is a hammock system that suspends the SLR camera body with attached zoom lens above the bottom of the case. A waterproof EVA base withstands the elements and allows the case to stand up on its own.
The SLRC-201 holster has 3 zippered pockets that can store memory cards, batteries, cords and other accessories. It is carried by a padded handle or a removable, adjustable shoulder strap with pad.

To be fair, I am a new photographer and this is my first camera case. I detached the "hammock" (velcro allows you to remove it) as it seemed to push the camera (and thus the LCD display) up against the top of the case. With the hammock detached, I can fit the D90 with the 18-105 lens and the lens hood (on correctly - not turned backwards) into the case and have room to flat fold the strap on the top. I love that this gives me quick access to the camera. There is not a lot of extra room, but I was not looking for that. The case seems well padded and I like the bottom rubber section for extra cushion, especially since I removed the hammock. I am pleased with this case for the cost.

I love the support and real portability. I feel like I can take my camera anywhere with this case. BUT- it takes two hands to unzip the top to reach the camera. A clip would have been a great 2nd option for opening, in addition to the zip.

Comments about Case Logic SLRC-201 SLR Zoom Holster:
This bag fits my D800 with 24-120 lens perfectly. I especially like the safety/cushioning of the holster. Since I do a lot of hiking, I tried several "camera backpacks" but decided to try the SLRC-201 inside my regular backpack. I was just in Yosemite for a few days, with much hiking around and up, and the combination is great. When I want to have the camera more available, I can carry the case outside of the backpack. I definitely recommend this case.

Comments about Case Logic SLRC-201 SLR Zoom Holster:
Bought this for those times when I just want to take the camera with a lens, and not the whole camera bag. The Zoom Holster fits that bill perfectly. Very well made, very well padded, and the adjustable sling that holds the camera inside is a great idea. The pockets have plenty of room for a couple spare batteries and memory cards. A pleasant surprise was the shoulder strap. It has a pad on it that makes carrying this case very comfortable. And the price was right!

Comments about Case Logic SLRC-201 SLR Zoom Holster:
This is a great case. It fits my Canon D50 with my 18-200mm lense attached. It is not bulky so easy to carry the camera around if you are not carrying other attachments/equipment. The sling inside the case suspends the camera so the lense does not touch the bottom of the case. The case bottom is harder & stands on its own. The zipper can be upzipped with 1 hand across top of case. Love this case.

Comments about Case Logic SLRC-201 SLR Zoom Holster:
I wanted a case that I could carry my Canon T3i around and easily access it while being active (i.e. hiking and disc golf) and also make sure the camera is protected. It fits my camera with a 18-135mm and the suspension system works well. The case seems pretty durable and I love the rubber waterproof bottom. It is perfect for me. There is not a ton of space for much else, but plenty of room for extra sd cards and batteries.

Comments about Case Logic SLRC-201 SLR Zoom Holster:
I bought this bag to help me keep my actual DSLR from view when walking around whilst on vacation. The price and overall construction is good but the clips for the strap are a little on the cheap side when compared to higer priced bags. I found the padded piece on the strap also moved out of place from time to time whilst walking. The holster on the inside did not work well as I use a lens hood; the slotted opening not big enough. It folds down though so I simply don't use it.
Overall a good buy for the money and for what I need it for, no regrets.

Comments about Case Logic SLRC-201 SLR Zoom Holster:
Light weight, rugged, sturdy, fits Canon 60D with 18-135mm with a little room to spare, dual direction main zipper compartment, space for extra SD and/or batteries. The rubberized base makes it stand upright with ease and protects the lens from minor drops, and wet ground.
Honestly, I would go with this even over the Lowpro and definitely over the Canon version.

Comments about Case Logic SLRC-201 SLR Zoom Holster:
Bought this to protect our new Canon SLR. Fits our camera with 18-135mm lens perfectly. The "hammock" has stretched out a little bit over the few weeks we've had it, but it's still supporting the camera like it's supposed to. It's adjustable, which is perfect. The storage pockets are fine for us. They hold the cables, charger, extra battery and memory just fine. They could also hold a couple of filters fine as well. I love the rigid base so it can stand up on it's own. Great case!

Comments about Case Logic SLRC-201 SLR Zoom Holster:
I'm using this for a Canon T2i with a 50mm & a 28-135mm lens (both Canon). This case is nice, simple, robust, and well padded. It has a good amount of pockets IMO, and is great for carrying the camera around. I'd recommend this to anyone needing a nice DSLR case for less. I could fit both lens into this case if I wanted to, but I'd put a case/skin on one of the lens to keep them from scratching. Otherwise I keep only one lens on the camera (in this case) at a time. It has a holster, which works well, but could be sturdier (less bounce) IMO. For the weight of the bigger lens (28-135mm), it doesn't really hold the camera up, just sort of secures it.
Still, overall very recommended for the price. Not a compromise even for twice the price.

Comments about Case Logic SLRC-201 SLR Zoom Holster:
Let me start by saying that some companies do lie alot abt their product quality and size and fell in trap and got the wrong one. But not this one. it was the perfect bag i was looking for my canon 7d with 28-138mm lans. superb quality and very protective design. light weight along with accessory and multi pocket to carry extra card and battery makes this bad ideal of mid-size slr camera.
