The MX622 from ART is a rack-mountable audio mixer with 3 microphone inputs, 3 stereo RCA line-level inputs, 2-band EQ, and an effects loop. It enables you to mix several different sources of audio down to two balanced stereo outputs. The knobs are logically arranged, clearly labeled, and easy to understand, making the MX622 a good choice for installations where several people may need access to the controls.
The 3 balanced XLR inputs feature mic/line switches, as well as individual dip-switches for 15V of phantom power. The stereo effects loop features a level knob and in/out switch on the front panel. The main output of the MX622 features balanced 1/4" TRS jacks for clean sound.
The MX622 will fit into a standard 19" rack, making it a good choice for installed sound systems. The user-friendly level controls on the front panel make the MX622 a good choice for bars and restaurants, conference rooms, and any situation where multiple microphones and stereo line-level signals need to be mixed together.

Comments about ART MX622 - 6-Channel Rackmount Mixer, 3 Mic/Line & 3 Stereo Input:
I am using this as a sub-mixer alongside a digital DJ'ing configuration. As the line inputs are RCA it is better suited for DJ kit than production equipment, although there is nothing stopping you from using RCA adapters on 1/8" jacks. It is a very well-built unit with a nice amount of resistance on the knobs. FX loop and basic EQ are bonuses.

Comments about ART MX622 - 6-Channel Rackmount Mixer, 3 Mic/Line & 3 Stereo Input:
I bought this mixer for use in a small DJ rack setup. The RCA "stereo-in" functions are great to have for home or DJ use! The only thing I would improve is to add an RCA interface on the front. The unit is so shallow in the rack that you end up working in the dark to find the inputs. Its a small problem as I just keep the wires hooked up to the mixer and store in the rack.

Comments about ART MX622 - 6-Channel Rackmount Mixer, 3 Mic/Line & 3 Stereo Input:
I am a mobile DJ and use this to run a pair of K12 Series QSC's, a laptop or iPOD, and wireless mics. This is perfect for what I do. I have been looking for an affordable rack mounted mixer and after finding this one I have been pleased so far. The only thing I would have preferred it to have is a reverb or echo control for mic outputs because I sing or have singers occassionally. Other than that, PERFECT!
