The Sony PDW-HR1 is a portable recorder for Sony's high-end XDCAM HD422 format. The recorder accepts both dual and single-layer professional discs and can record in a variety of different settings. The unit features a 9" LCD viewer, built-in stereo speaker, and can be powered using IDX batteries, making it ideal for field recording.
