The GZ-HM200 Everio S High Definition Camcorder gives you true 1920 x 1080/60i recording, to SD/SDHC memory cards with the camera's dual card slot. Every memory will come across beautiful and life-like on your HDTV, thanks to the 1/4.1" 3.05MP CMOS sensor, GENESSA processing, and the HD Gigabrid Premium video engine. The KONICA MINOLTA HD lens and 2.7" LCD help by giving you a lens specially designed for capturing HD video and a wide display on which to compose and playback your video. Let's not forget the AVCHD UXP mode with a bit rate of up to 24Mbps, for improved clarity and detail.
While you're out capturing all those videos you'll probably want to shoot some photos as well. Don't worry about having to lug around a camera to; the HM200 doubles a digital still camera that boasts 1920 x 1080 resolution and Face Detection technology.
When you're ready to share little Johnny's first steps, uploading the special moment to the Internet, is easy. The camcorder features One-Touch Export to iTunes and One-Touch Upload to YouTube - taking the hassle out of the entire sharing process. The HM200 also features Direct DVD, which makes burning your video to DVD on your computer as simple as it gets.

- Record over 5 hours of 1920 x 1080i high definition video to two 32GB SD/SDHC cards in the dual memory slots of the GZ-HM200.
- 3.05MP 1/4.1" CMOS Sensor
- The 1/4.1" CMOS sensor in the HM200 captures video and stills with true HD clarity and quality. Helping the sensor do its job would be, JVC's HD Gigabrid Premium video engine, which optimizes image quality along with reducing the camera's power consumption and GENESSA processing to make the most out of the HD signal.
- KONICA MINOLTA HD Lens
- The KONICA MINOLTA HD Lens is specially designed for capturing Full HD video and stills and features a 20x optical zoom, which brings far off subjects up-close with virtually no loss in image quality.
- 2.7" LCD Display
- The LCD on the GZ-HM200 provides a 16:9 display on which to compose and playback video and stills. JVC's improved Laser Touch Operation system lets you navigate the camera's basic controls and menu selections on the side and bottom of the screen.

- The GZ-HM200 doubles as a high resolution digital still camera. Capture beautiful 1920 x 1080 JPEGs with the camera and save them to the HDD or microSD/SDHC memory cards.

I got this when my daughter was born, but i wanted something i could use as well for B-Roll with my Canon-XL-H1
I've only had it for almost a month now, and im pretty satisfied with it, of course it's a small camera with a fixed lens and everything but, it's a great little light weight-second angle-action cam
