Comments about Canon Legria HG21 High Definition HDD 'PAL' Camcorder:
Produces beautiful HD footage, and wonderful to view on an HD TV - simply plug in and play. Customisable features which provides with wonderful control over White Balance etc. - but like with DSLR cameras, the "Program" mode will take as good pictures 95% of the time compared to going manual and controlling all settings. Same with this camcorder - "easy" mode, is a simple pick up and shoot setting, which produces very good results.
Good battery life and plenty of storage space
Very easy to use with Apple's iMovie to create lasting memories
This camcorder also has a viewfinder (very few new camcorders have this in addition to the fold out screen) which is very useful on bright days to actually see what you're recording; however the zoom button is then very close to your eye - which is a bit clumsy

Comments about Canon Legria HG21 High Definition HDD 'PAL' Camcorder:
we bought the camera in our honeymoon trip and it used us to video the events which stills photos can't capture.
The first use was easy and comfortable it took like 10 minutes to learn how to take photos and film a video. Since i have a Rebel SLR camera i'm also familiar with the special functions for the stills camera...
When we got home and connected the camera to the 42 inch television we saw just how great the camera really was, the quality is unbelievable!
it's a pity that they didn't include an HDMI cable that you have to buy separately, also as far as i understand if you want to view the video in your home DVD through DVD media or USB you'll have to find a codec converter yourself as the software that comes with the camera allows you backup only.
