With the Panasonic DMW-MCFT1 Marine Case Underwater Housing for the Panasonic DMC-TS1, you can use your digital camera to take underwater photos at depths of up to 130' (40m). It is also ideal for taking worry-free pictures in the rain, at the beach, or on the ski slopes.
A diffuser for the camera's flash is built onto the housing. This helps when using the camera's internal flash. For better results underwater, use the internal flash to trigger a slaved external strobe like those made by Fantasea, Sea & Sea, Ikelite, or Sealife. The camera has an underwater mode setting for available light photography.

Comments about DMW-MCFT1 Marine Case Underwater Housing for Panasonic DMC-TS1:
Have used both in the pool and the ocean.
Works great, all functions of camera are avaliable while under water. easy to operate all buttons even with thick cold water gloves on.
floats without camera installed but sinks slowly when camera fitted. Make sure you strap it to your wrist or BCD while scuba diving.
Attention to detail is required to make sure the seals do not leak (as with any underwater product). As long as you are patient and take care you should have no problems.
The limitations of this case are more a result of the camera itself, however it is a good entry level introduction to underwater photography and will give you a fantastic record of your adventures even at depth.
Care is needed to avoid scratching the rear of the case with rocks or sand.
