The American Dynamics RHONKIT Nitrogen Recharge Kit with Hose Regulator Tank is used to pressurize the SpeedDome Ultra pressurized outdoor camera housing (RHODULP) with dry nitrogen. Pressurizing with dry nitrogen is done at the time of installation. This protects the camera in the housing from moisture, dust, insects, and corrosive exhaust fumes.
The recharge kit can be utilized for pressurizing three housings. Additionally, the kit has an absolute low-pressure sensor which detects if the pressure inside the housing is less than 0.5psi. This sensor opens at 0.5psi and closes at 1psi.
The hose has a 1/4-inch barb on one end and an air chuck on the other. The barb connects to the regulator on the tank and the chuck to the purge valve on the housing.
