The 13.3" MacBook Pro Notebook Computer from Apple is a powerful Macintosh computer, in a portable form factor. Housed in a sleek glass and aluminum enclosure, it features a keyboard with an ambient light sensor and backlit keys.
The computer's glossy widescreen display features a resolution of 1280 x 800, ideal for photographers working on the go, or for video editors cutting 720p video. it was the last one in stock and then i learned it was last years model. This one has a very slightly higher CPU speed but older model graphic card> This years models come with better graphic card but the CPU is either 2.4 or 2.66 so they give you one thing and they take away another so it's up to you to choose. I'm very happy with it the size is ok and it works well but if you are looking for good quality graphics you should look for the 320M models this is 9400M not so great graphics but i'm ok with that since i'm more into Audio editing than video editing. In the add it said that it comes with parallels and mine didn't haver it so i had to go back and ask for it and after 1 hour of hassling me they gave me what i was suppose to have in the box already.

This is I guess the most simple Macbooks among the ones for sale nowadays. As a Sound Editor and Mixer, I found it just perfect for our needs, such as running Pro Tools with a video preview in great quality, plugins accesses and running more than 3 softwares simultaneously. Apple always finds the best way to work their machines and get the best out of the configuration. My Vaio has a better configuration and not nearly the same performance. Awesome.

Apple just keeps getting better
My 9 year old I Book with it's 30 GB drive and G3 processor has been replaced with a new modern marvel, Just like it's big brother the I mac this Mac Book Pro is Grand!!!
This will be used in Ham Shack and as a portable weather recorder plus vacations and as a back up for the I mac.
I love the power attachment and the no button opener. it seems as fast as the I mac, Wi-Fi pick was very,very fast.
This Mac ran some 8 hours continuous with nothing but a slight warm feel so heat is not a problem. Much cooler than the old G3 I Book
Overall a great piece of work on the part of Apple and B&H makes the experience even better.

I love so many things about this laptop- my many Mac-using friends would be proud! Was a PC girl for many years and am so happy I've made the switch. Time Machine is brilliant and lends some security in the ability to back up the entire system to an external device. No use yet for graphics or photo/video editing but am confident this laptop will be able to manage the task, no worry. The price I got this laptop for with B&H actually came in for less than what Apple was charging for the same computer, only a refurb, on their online store- bonus! And, the copy of Parallels thrown in? Bonus bonus!

After years of shunning my Mac-fiend friends' advise to go Mac, I've finally taken the plunge. Forever a PC girl I have since made the switch and could not be happier. While my uses are not yet geared toward graphics or photo/video editing, I am confident this particular laptop can manage the tasks. And, with the ability to bump-up the RAM by double if need be, I think I'll be set with this computer for the next few years. I really like the fact that one is able to back up the entire system utilising the Time Machine feature. And I've been told that Time Machine can do many, many things, however I've not yet explored that aspect yet. To top the whole deal off with even more sweetness, B&H's prices are so competitive that they actually came in at less than the refurb. on Apple's online store. AND, a free copy of Parallels to boot.
