Comments about Apple 15.4" MacBook Pro Notebook Computer:
I'm a true novice on a MAC; old hand at PCs. This new Macbook took a little learning, but it was well worth it. It is soooo much easier to use once you get accustomed to the new ways of doing things. The price is much more than a comparably configured Dell or HP, but for what I do with photos, it's worth it.

Comments about Apple 15.4" MacBook Pro Notebook Computer:
I use this laptop for all of my necessities. I love the way it loads fast and the graphics. The keyboard is very easy and I think the most comfortable to use too! It's not like a PC where it's uncomfortable to use.

Comments about Apple 15.4" MacBook Pro Notebook Computer:
I use this computer for Web Apps Such as Adobe CS4 and I have to say that even with the same specs overall the Mac is blowing the PC away in speed and graphics. This is like a whole new world for me and I'm starting to like it. Even after working in IT for 5 years now I get lost lucky I still remember some unix commands they have already come in handy.
I do have a question, I noticed someone said this thing is quiet... My CD drive is loud and sounds like it's broken. Is that normal? I mean this is my first Mac so I don't know since it is technically working. I've only had this for a week and the few times I've tried to burn only 1 out of 4 attempts worked without errors. I'm wondering if I need to get it replaced now before too much time passes...

This is the first Mac I've ever purchased, and I like it a lot right now. I'm some issues adjusting to the new platform, but otherwise it's great.

Comments about Apple 15.4" MacBook Pro Notebook Computer:
Pros:
This is my second Mac laptop. For less than I spent on a Powerbook 5 years ago, I got better battery life, better images because of their glass screen, a bigger harddrive, double the RAM and a more solid construction. I use the
laptop for showing my images, often in Iphoto's slideshow which is even more refined and comes with the computer.
Cons:
Connection to a VGA monitor or projector requires optional cables (unlike
previous versions).
