The 15.4" MacBook Pro Notebook Computer from Apple is a powerful Macintosh computer, in a portable form factor. Housed in a sleek glass and aluminum enclosure, it features a keyboard with an ambient light sensor and backlit keys.
The computer's glossy widescreen display features a resolution of 1440 x 900, ideal for photographers working on the go, or for video editors cutting 720p video. The computer is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, includes 4GB of RAM, and features 802.11n Airport Extreme Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and the SuperDrive DVD burner. The 500GB 5400rpm hard drive provides ample storage space.
All this hardware runs on Apple's Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard operating system, making the MacBook Pro a great choice for any creative professional.

This is my first time owning a Mac computer. And its unbelievable!!!! As soon as you turn the machine on, it's ready for you in less than a minute. No more long start ups. Very stable, graphics is awesome and it can handle anything i throw at it (figuratively) from Lightroom to Photoshop and iMovie to Final Cut. I'm so happy with this machine. And one last thing, Battery life is AWESOME!!!!! Now I know why they call Mac the BMW of computers.

This computer is awesome. I don't know why I waited this long to switch to Mac. The computer started in literally less than 1 minute and shuts down in a just a few seconds. Very stable and lightning fast. It can handle everything I throw at it from photohsop to Lightroom. I do a lot of digital photography and it's just great! The hard drive size is very useful.

This is quite possibly the best computer system I've ever purchased! As far as multimedia work goes, the Wintel world has nothing that can compare to it in my opinion. I mainly use this for photography related work but it's also a great laptop to for general use (i.e., watching movies, listening to music in iTunes, etc.).
You got to love it when you shut down the system, it actually does it within 2 seconds.
