The American Dynamics ADNSNVRCL3 VideoEdge NVR Server Software provides a license for 250+ camera slots. The software can be installed on most commercial-off-the-shelf hardware from a single bootable disc that automatically installs a Linux based operating system along with appropriate web servers, network security, and storage applications.
The server software has a high degree of security. It performs as a read-only device and there is no file-level access. By using an embedded Linux operating system, the software protects itself from generic malicious software usually aimed at mainstream operating systems like Windows. Furthermore, an administrator audit trail ensures that all changes made to the software core remains logged for scrutiny.
Any change in operation that calls for more storage can easily be accommodated by the software as it can support a maximum of 77 one TB drives.
The chain-of-custody feature of the VideoEdge NVR Server Software ensures that any file manipulation is thoroughly logged. This allows for undisputed video evidence.
