The American Dynamics ESM1000 expands the Intellex digital video management system storage capacity to an additional 1TB. The expanded storage provides many hours of additional recording capacity. Since it uses Intellex's efficient Active Content Compression (ACC) format of file storage even more storage space is made available.
In order to allow the user to download and check data, the Network Client software links with Intellex and the ESM to provide the necessary access. With a high-speed interface, the storage module exploits Intellex's intelligent search tools on all data, irrespective of where on the disk the data is stored, whether in the Intellex unit or in the ESM. The location of the information is transparent to the user. It can be placed either on a 1-U height rack mount or on a desktop.
