Robust construction should last a good many years.
At the moment we have not used it for travel abroad, but it sure keeps our Apple products charged, without having to plug them into the Mac computer.
I would have like a carrying case included in the kit, but the cardboard box it comes in looks tough, holds the parts in an organized manner, and is small enough to be easily packable.

I purchased this for my Macbook Pro laptop for an extended trip to Europe, but returned it when I realized that I can save a lot of money by just purchasing grounded adapters. This is because the Macbook charger is rated for both U.S. 110v power and European 220v power, and so only needs a grounded adapter or regular adapter for your destination country to function properly. I don't have an I-pod so I can't tell you if this product is useful for those or not. [...]

I travel a lot with many electronic devices from Apple; going around with a bunch of adaptors is quite inconvinient so I decided to buy this kit. All the different plugs work both with Mac Book and Ipad adaptors so I think its a good bet for whoever travels a lot like me.
