The Pearstone Bounce Dome (Diffuser) for Nikon SB-600 Speedlights & Olympus FL-36 Flashes will diffuse the light output of the flash, producing softer shadows and a softer, more natural glow rather than the harsher effect when using a direct flash. The diffuser provides even coverage across the entire frame.
The Bounce Dome simply slides onto and off the flash with custom fitting, without the need for touch fastener tabs.

First off I can not stand the fact that this does not come with the sb600 flash, very annoying. My sb800 sure as heck came with one BUT whatever! Regardless, it is a great bounce dome and does exactly as I need it to do, diffuse light. Works great for events, parties, and my above all wedding receptions. I'm completely happy with it.

Mine came a little too tight. After some abrasion with a nail file, got better, but still isn't perfect, because it is a little round on the longer side. I seldom use it, so it's really no big deal. If you intend to use it a lot though, it may be worth spending some more and getting one with a better fit.

I have tried other bounce diffusers but this one is so simple and it just works well.
I have lost one in the past but I don't think it was because it fell off but more likely because it was misplaced. Make sure it is on tight though.

Small price to pay for something Nikon should have added to the flash and it makes a difference. Just enough room in the Nikon pouch for this to stay on the flash and still close safely. Should have purchased this sooner.

I was using a Gary Fong Lightsphere on my Nikon SB600 and switched to the Pearstone Dome. It's much easier to carry and does the same job as the Lightsphere. A better deal for the money and a lot more convenient.

I use this flash diffuser to lessing the shadow edge on a photo. Using this makes the pictures so much come alive. No shadows to have to edit out. I love it. I wish I had gotten it a lot sooner, did not because I thought it was going to be expensive. Wow was I wrong. Very good tool to have.
