The black BodyBag Pro with Lens from LensCoat is made from soft shock-absorbing neoprene. It protects a pro digital SLR camera body and lens from the nicks, dings and scratches of accidental impact. It also keeps the camera body and lens free from dust and dirt and protects it from the elements.
The BodyBag Pro with Lens has a touch fastener closure that makes storage and access quick and easy. It is designed to fit a pro digital camera body with lens, a prosumer digital camera body and lens with the optional body grip installed, or D-SLR camera body and lens with extended power winder. This version comes in a matte all-black finish to better blend in where desirable. Or, it can be used just for its protection value

As long as you have proper expectations with this cover then you shouldn't be disappointed. It's a simple neoprene camera cover for simple transportation purposes! What more could you ask for?

I bought this to cover my Nikon D500 for carrying in a backpack or purse instead of having to carry my camera case. It suits that purpose fine. It is not tight around the camera, but fits the shoulder strap in if needed or the strap can hang out if you want to use the cover with out any other bag. Overall I am happy with the purchase and it was basically what I had expected.

I'm happy with the case. It does what its supposed to which is protect my 5d Mrk II when I'm using different bags besides my LowePro backpack.
Could be a bit more snug but it does a good job protecting the camera from getting scratched.

I carry my camera almost everywhere with me. I normally carry it in my messenger bag with my laptop on a daily basis. This case gives a little added protection from the bumps and bruises your gear might see in a day. It also helps with keeping the dust out. The padding is thick enough to keep everyday abuse at bay. It probably wont help with a significant drop.
I use the bag with my gripped D90 and a 50mm or 20mm prime lens. There is still room for a larger lens. The fit is snug and can be hard to remove in a real hurry.

I use this pouch for my 50D with battery grip and small lenses. I especially like the fact that the lens portion of the pouch is reinforced with plastic/foam giving extra protection. I also have the BodyBag compact with lens for my wife's XTi. The pouch is lightweight and gives good protection when i have it in my backpack or camera bag. Well built.

Fits my Sony a350 with Tamrom 28-300 zoom that has a 72mm polarizer mounted on it. Although not a heavy padding, it will protect my camera and lens from light to moderate bumps and dirt when out in the field. A good "one size fits most" at an inexpensive cost. Takes less than 10 seconds to open, remove and have the camera ready to shoot.

I have a Canon T1i and the case was too big to fit snugly. I guess I thought it would be a better fit.

Comments about LensCoat BodyBag Pro with Lens (Black):
I bought this product because I wanted something I could throw my new SLR (Nikon D40) in so that I can put it in my purse rather than carry a big camera bag around. It does the job and was relatively inexpensive compared to others I found online. The only thing I don't like is its a little big. I wish it was a snugger fit but since its made for several different camera types I did not expect a perfect fit when I ordered.
It does the job and seems to provide the amount of protection I was looking for. Its easy to just throw the camera in the case or take it out when needed.
