The HDX 16-1370US Notebook Computer from Hewlett-Packard is a 16" widescreen notebook with a 16:9 aspect ratio display. Designed with entertainment in mind, the notebook features an HDMI port for HDTV connectivity.
The system is powered by a 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P7550 and boasts 4GB of RAM, a 500GB 5400rpm SATA hard drive, a SuperMulti DVD burner, wireless Ethernet, and a 16" widescreen display powered by nVIDIA GeForce GT 130M graphics. Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit) is the platform that ties all this hardware and software together.

If you are considering this computer to upgrade to Windows 7, you may want to think twice. I upgraded to Windows 7 profession and started to have driver issues. MS worked with me for several sessions, final called HP. Turns out HP will not support the HDX 16-1370US in a Windows 7 enviornment unless the windows 7 program was downloaded from their web site. Per the techican, there are too many issues with Drivers that HP elected to no longer support the computer in Windows 7. This is not what I was told at the time of purchase but nevertheless, buyers beware.

This laptop looks like a laptop from the startrek movie.
It's beautiful and works like a plane!!
It's super fast and I like the controls of this laptop.
The 16" screan is a nice size. The speed is good. I am using the HP as my main computer to do Photo editing. The keyboard size is more comfortiable than other standard notebooks that I use and even some 17" notebooks that I have used.
