Works great with a Nikon D300 w/ 18-200 lens. Have used by it self and attached to Clikelite Backpack. Only problem is make sure it attaches to pack before you need, could be a problem with buckles. Clikelite customer sevice is great and will send you a kit to fix problem.

This Is great, Comes with a separate shoulder strap that clicks on for more versatility around town. Very well made with a soft fleece like lining which I love. (My Tamrac has Nylon inside, which can be abrasive)Can't really think of anything I don't like about it, could use some side pockets maybe? Shoulder strap could be a little wider with more padding like the shoulder harness.

Comments about Clik Elite Large SLR Chest Pack (Gray):
I think this is a good product for a full, pro-size body, but for my regular-body Canon 5d2 with 24-105 lens, I find it too large. I wanted something that would keep my 5d2 accessible & secure when I'm hiking & scrambling. With my camera, there was too much bulk, leaving the camera too loosely contained within the pack, so I was afraid it would "slosh around" a lot. But it's well designed and probably just right for a full-sized body. I would have kept this product if it better fit my normal hiking setup of Canon 5d2 plus 24-105 lens.

Awesome pack for hiking. I use this pack to carry my Canon 50D with 135mm Lens on all my hikes.
The camera fits in beautifully and has plenty of room for accessories such as spare battery, memory cards and filters.
The Harness system keeps the camera under control at all times.
I have done a trial fitting with the 300mm lens however it's a little tight.
Great addition to my hiking gear!

I strongly recommend this product to the adventure photographer. I hike quite often at the alpine level as well as climb. This pack works great not making me pack my camera in my backpack. My camera is always accessible for quick use.

Comments about Clik Elite Large SLR Chest Pack (Gray):
I've used this pretty extensively with a semi-pro body DSLR while trail running, hiking, climbing, and skiing in everything from pouring rain to snow.
Good stuff:
-great ergonomics, camera's right where you want it and (mostly) out of the way
-solid construction without being too heavy
-surprisingly good weatherproofness
-can attach directly to clik elite packs
My one gripe:
The "click-in" buckles that clik elite uses are really hard to find after-market, so it's very difficult to convert it for use with my other backpacks. It would also be difficult to replace them if they broke. I ended up removing the stock buckles and replacing them with more universally available buckles. It's now AWESOME; I can use it with any of my regular packs, but couldn't they just use normal buckles to begin with?

Very convenient for those times when removing a backpack to get at your camera is difficult. If you ride, you will find it a great way of safely transporting your valuable equipment.
