I used the case for two weeks while riding bike.

Comments about Clik Elite Large SLR Chest Pack (Black):
Be sure and test harness fit within the two-week return period. Although the straps are comfortable over the top of the shoulders, the overly wide zipped pocket on the back of this Clik Elite harness hits my left shoulder blade causing soreness when hiking (and may interfere with a backpack). Solution: I cut off the pocket and lower part of the harness, and sewed the bottom half of the harness to an older narrower Sundog harness with flatter and simpler design which fits better against my back.

Comments about Clik Elite Large SLR Chest Pack (Black):
I backpack and climb mountains. I needed a chest pack so I could easily retrieve the camera while I was climbing. I found the pack convenient, but wish it were smaller - only large enough for the camera body and a normal lens.

Comments about Clik Elite Large SLR Chest Pack (Black):
This chest pack has been fantastic for skiing. It fits very snugly, and distributes the weight so that I'm hardly aware if it, even with a Nikon D90 and a 70-300mm lens. It just fits that combo...D300 owners may find it too snug a fit. The over the shoulder straps are well padded without being bulky (I wear this, plus a backpack when skiing), and the quick disconnects make it very easy to take on and off.
It puts the camera right where you want it for quick access. I have only done a little hiking with it, but it seems to work equally well for that.

Comments about Clik Elite Large SLR Chest Pack (Black):
Works best in conjunction with ClikElite Medium Nature or Compact Sport camera packs, due to the system that allows you to clip it straight to the pack shoulder harness and waistbelt. With that system, you can haul your photo equipment and day-long necessities on climbing, scrambling and ski trips. The chest pack won's sway, swing or hit you in the chin. The separate harness is good, but the whole system is better.
