Comments about Acoustic Research ART1 Real Wood Clock Radio with Docking Station:
This machine is pure "awesomeness!" It cranks out a full, rich sound, plenty loud, with no distortion. It's a hefty beast... barely fits on my nightstand... but that only adds to its substantial quality. The design is flawless, inside and out.

Comments about Acoustic Research ART1 Real Wood Clock Radio with Docking Station:
The unit sounds pretty decent - especially for the price - and seems reasonably well made, but...
- There is no remote.
- Apparently there is no "automatic shutoff" feature for the alarm (e.g. option for the unit to shut itself off after XX minutes).
- Two buttons have to pressed to shut the alarm off. (Not appreciated at 5:00 AM).
- The "TIME" button on the back of the unit isn't mentioned in the owner's manual in the "setting the clock" section (or anywhere else). What is its purpose? I set my clock without ever touching the button.
- The brightest display setting ("10") isn't all that bright and the characters should be larger.
