Comments about Apple 13.3" MacBook Pro Notebook Computer:
I use it for internet access, word processing and photo editing. Love all the clever design features like the touch pad, magnetic power cord and beautiful monitor. I'm new to Mac and am very impressed with the speed and functionality of the system. I spend much less time waiting for the machine to boot, shut down or a program to load. We still have 3 Vista machines at home and I use them at work . . . happily no file compatibility issues. I should have bought a Mac years ago. Having always been a PC user, switching to Mac does involve a learning curve. It is not that difficult, however, and the web is full of helpful, free material to help a newby master the system.
I'm also very impressed with the battery life. It is much better than any other laptop I've used before.
As I see it, cost is the major downside. Compared to other systems with similar specifications, the Mac seems substantially more expensive. At least the additional expense gets you better build quality and greater ease of use.
