I bought this extra battery pack with a panasonic dmc zs10 as I didn't fancy running out of power on a day out catching the action. It has only been recharged once so far therefore I can't comment on the durability or lifespan of the product but in terms of a single charge it has performed flawlessly. I have taken 100+ photos and several minutes of film with multiple power ups and a good deal of using the zoom. All this in a Utah winter with quite cold outside temperatures.

I generally prefer conventional AA batteries since I travel a lot, and they are universal. I recommend having two of these just in case, I took two when I went camping for a week and had no problems.

Have a new Panasonic DMC-ZS10 camera and the internal GPS eats batteries for lunch. Needed a spare and didn't relish paying full price for the Panasonic. Gave this a try and have trouble telling the original from the replacement. Cheap enough - I should have gotten a second spare for those long days of consuming electrons.

Wanted a backup for Lumix DMC-ZS10 battery and trusted B&H for aftermarket products so ordered the Pearstone version. Battery charged quickly in the Panasonic charger and is still showing no signs of weakness in the camera - it's just been a few days, but lots of use. I would add though that the Panasonic version is not substantially more expensive.
