The CD-200 from Tascam is a professional-quality rackmount CD player designed for installation in retail stores, restaurants, houses of worship, and other venues. The player is compatible with audio CDs, MP3 CDs, and WAV CDs, and has built-in support for CD TEXT and ID3 tags. A memory buffer helps prevent shocks and skips for smooth playback. Comments about Tascam CD-200 Rack Mount CD Player:
I own a ballet studio and need a sturdy CD player with pitch control. All the teachers have used the player so far and we've had no complaints. So far so good the big test will be whether it lasts!

Comments about Tascam CD-200 Rack Mount CD Player:
I bought this player to use in our church.
It sounds flawless! Love it!
However, the tray is rather slow and the display is hard to read when looking at the angle.
Would recommend it!

Comments about Tascam CD-200 Rack Mount CD Player:
After spending many dollars on "audiophile" CD players I decided to try something different. This is an excellent player with a very analog sound. Nice smooth drive tray. The only thing I do not care for is the very bright and a little hard to read display. But the great sound quality more than makes up for it.

Comments about Tascam CD-200 Rack Mount CD Player:
I owned the previous version and I truly enjoy the new features on the new one. I own a fitness club and the music tempo has to be just right and with the old, I had to stop, open and then press the pitch control, now it works without stopping the CD

Comments about Tascam CD-200 Rack Mount CD Player:
This product was quick and easy to setup. It was integrated into our media center and playing CDs within 4 mins. Sounds great! This unit also has a variable pitch selector which can be helpful in learning music outside of the original key. Great for musicians and vocalist alike. The equipment is surprisingly heavy duty. It looks and feels like it was made to take a beating. The sound quality is great. I'm totally happy with it and would recommend it to a driend.

We use this CD player for a fitness class in our recreation center. The pitch control allows instructors to change the tempo of the music to fit the tempo of their class. Great price online

Comments about Tascam CD-200 Rack Mount CD Player:
Our church puts lots of wear and tear on CD players, accessing rehearsal tracks ... probably 50+ track accesses per week. We couldn't find a more capable unit at any price -- especially one as ruggedly constructed, feature-rich without being loaded with gimcracks as so many other Japanese audio products are. HIGHLY recommended!

Comments about Tascam CD-200 Rack Mount CD Player:
We have several people that use the sound equipment for our different services in the church. This component made training and use so much simpler than the tape/CD combo we were using. [...] Installed in minutes and was used same day. Thanks!!
Comments about Tascam CD-200 Rack Mount CD Player:
I use the CD-200 primarily for Quality Control purposes for Audio Books.
Overall this unit is a very good value for the money.
However, when toggling through the Display button options, it is unproductive to have "Remain", T Remain", "Elapsed" flash every time.
