The Sony HKSR-5105 HDV iLink Board is an optional accessory board for the SRW-5100 player. When installed, it offers the ability to output HDV 1080i MPEG-2 signals via its 6-pin (IEEE1394) iLink connector, which provides an end user the capability of creating an HDV editorial copy of HDCAM and HDCAM SR format materials. This board intrinsically meets the high demands of high profile video operations often required by HDCAM/HDCAM SR studios, digital mobile units, and ENG trucks.
