Everything I read about this memory being compatible with my M4A78LT-M LE mother board said it was the perfect memory. However once it was installed neither the keyboard nor the monitor would respond. I have sent it back to be exchanged with a memory kit that was recommended by a computer geek at a well know store. I am still waiting for it to try it out.
I still have faith in the products.

At first they worked great for a couple of weeks. But then I'd keep getting these messages from my computer every time I'd turn it on stating that my RAM is not allocated in the right slots.
I'd look at the message and it would show and empty slot where one of the 4GB RAM cards was suppose to be. I'd shut it down and mess with the card and restart and it fixed it. Well, now I have to do this everytime I turn the computer on. If I change the cards on other ports it always does the same thing on whatever port that one card is on.
Conclusion. Bad card.

The basic 3 gb that comes in a Mac Pro in not sufficient for the way I use the machine. Needed more for multiple VM and busy desktop. With the 8 + 2 OEM sticks I have 10 = real performance.

It is a great product to upgrade the initial configuration of Mac Pro, I'm using is 15 days and still had no problems and I think I have.
After all there's to have a Mac Pro with 6GB of RAM. He deserves to 14GB.
