Manfrotto Retractable Spiked Feet Set
The Manfrotto 204SPK3 Retractable Spiked Feet fits their "D20.4" carbon fiber 20.4mm outer diameter tube found on the 055CX3 and 055CXPRO3 tripods.
The spikes are made from an anodized aluminum alloy, so they're extremely resistant to corrosion. Having spiked feet is beneficial anytime you're shooting on soft earth surfaces.
A dedicated mounting tool is included.

Had the darndest time finding what spiked feet I needed to replace a broken one on my Manfrotto 3221WN, but these fit like a charm. Didn't want to replace a perfectly good tripod for lack of one foot, now it is repaired and I have two feet to spare. No need to change feet when you need spikes, just rotate the round cover down over the spike and you are good to go for indoor use.

They replace the original feet that came with my tripod. They had been gradually breaking over the years. These are a simpler, much better, more durable, design than the original feet. The spikes are great for soft soil. The ruberized feet which screw out to cover the spikes are great for indoor flooring or rock surfaces.

I use these on my Manfrotto 055CXPRO tripod and they work like a charm. The only suggestion I would make is for ease when using the spikes in a sandy environment, you might want to blow the sand out well before screwing them back into the retracted position.

For the 055CXPRO3, tripod legs, I had wanted some spare "stock" feet.
Somewhat reluctantly I ordered a set of these. And now I don't want the "stock" feet.
No fuss installation. The rubber bumper "stock" feet of my 055CXPRO3 were not glued on.
Take care when tightening the clamps. Carbon fiber is a plastic.
One last word. I thought this accessory would give my elegant high tech tripod an ugly appearance. But actually they look as if they belong on there.

The Manfrotto 055CXPRO3 is a terrific carbon fiber tripod, but it comes with little rubber bumper cups like you would find on an inexpensive item of lightweight furniture.These retractable spike feet tightly fit onto the carbon tripod legs and are then very securely fastened with set screws (screwdriver provided!). The result is a much more secure flat based shoe (when dialed to full extension) and a very aggressive spike (when dialed to full retraction)[...] they are a really indispensable addition to the tripod. (I love Manfrotto's tripod 401N carrier made for this unit as well. These 2 adds make the whole unit fabulous.)
