The Gitzo GT1541 Mountaineer 6X Carbon Fiber Tripod Legs uses advanced "Carbon 6X" carbon fiber material for its leg construction. This improved tubing is stronger, lighter and as resistant as its 12 layer predecessor. Carbon "6X" is manufactured using a complex, 3-D process weaving 6 layers of carbon fiber into smooth, solid constructed tubes.
The GT1541 is ideal for use with DSLR cameras with 135mm lenses (up to a 200mm maximum), MiniDV camcorders, and spotting scopes. This Series 1 model is the ideal solution for photographers on the move or when space and weight are key factors.
The Gitzo GS1320K is a 3 component kit for (1) series tripods. This kit allows the (1) series tripods to upgrade to work ground level for specific shooting applications.
The Gitzo GH1780QR Center Ballhead with Quick Release is a lightweight magnesium ballhead that incorporates many innovative and state-of-the-art features. It is designed to match the range of high performance tripods available from Gitzo. Not only does it guarantee a high maximum support load, but it also offers many other improved features, such as: smoothness, minimized drift angle, low gravity center, greater tilt angles, compactness, ergonomics and safety.
Exceptionally smooth rotation, positive locking and rapid camera mounting are all features common to the Gitzo designed range of ballheads. The graduated base, with independent locking facilities permits perfect panoramic photography. The design of the panoramic base permits the ballhead to be used for table top or near ground level work with or without the use of a tripod.
The Gitzo GS5370C Quick Release Plate is a 1.5" square plate that comes with one standard 1/4"-20 camera screw and one 3/8"-16 screw. It is a "C" type plate as designated by Gitzo's 3 different profiles.
As of October 2009, the GS5370C is compatible with the 2285MB, GS3760C, and GS5760C quick release adapters, the G2272M Low-Profile Head, all the current ballheads except for the Off-Center Heads, and the G2180 Fluid Head.
This plate replaces Gitzo's discontinued G2285M/14 plate.
