The 2TB GT Key FireWire-800 Drive Cartridge from Glyph-Technology is a hard drive in a hot swappable enclosure that is compatible with the GT 051, GT 103, GT 205, and GT 308 series of enclosures.
The drive can be hot swapped from any of these Glyph drive enclosures, allowing you to easily integrate it into your work environment. It even includes a carrying case that allows you to safely store and transport the drive module when it is not in use.
- 2TB allows for storage of approximately 150 hours of uncompressed DV digital video, the equivalent of 425 4.7GB DVD video discs, or up to 500,000 MP3 files
- Compatible with GT 051, GT 103, GT 205, and GT 308 drive enclosures from Glyph-Technologies
- Compatible with legacy FireWire-400 enclosures
- Seagate drive mechanism features a 32MB data buffer, 8ms seek time, and 70MB/sec sustained transfer

We use these drives as a better and yet affordable method of content backup. We were using over the counter external drives in the past and it became a big mess with tons of different power cables and the inevitable device failure.
