Designed and built with both home theater and presentation/multimedia enthusiasts in mind, the Kramer WV-11 BNC Video Over Twisted Pair Transmitter offers twisted pair signal conversion from composite video; it's part of Kramer's Wall Plate (WP) series and works in conjunction with the WV-12 twisted pair receiver. This wall plate features (1) female BNC video input, (1) rear-panel 3-pole T-block output, and front-panel level (gain) and EQ (peaking) controls. Moreover, its single gang-box style fits into a standard sized lighting switch box.
Note! This unit must be used in conjunction with a WV-12 receiver to achieve a complete solution.
- Twisted Pair Signal Conversion
- Twisted pair cabling uses 2 conductors (forward and return) that are twisted together in a specific fashion (pitch/twist rate per meter) to cancel out electromagnetic interference and crosstalk (noise) from external sources and its environment. This technology enables a system range up to 3280' (1km) when paired with the WV-12 receiver.
- Panel Connections
- It offers a front-panel BNC (female) video input and a rear-panel 3-pole terminal block output for twisted pair cabling.
- Video Level and EQ Control
- Conveniently located on the front-panel of the unit are video level (gain) and EQ (peaking) controls. Video level control adjusts the output signal level for the BNC input while the EQ control adjusts the cable compensation (equalization) level for the twisted pair output.

- The WV-11 is an ideal solution for home theater, presentation and multimedia applications, virtually any large venue that requires high-quality, long distance twisted pair video distribution.
- Single Gang-Box Style
