The Monster Cable iCable 800 for iPod and iPhone (7') is the only thing you need to enjoy your iPod or iPhone on your car's auxiliary-in equipped stereo. Just connect the mini-jack to mini-jack cable to your iPod and the auxiliary-in, turn the stereo on, and choose your music. It's that simple. There's no need to hassle with cassette adapters or tuning into the strongest FM signal.
Making the iCable 800 a true Monster cable would be the 24k gold connectors and Xtra Low Noise Double Helix construction for accurate, CD quality sound. In addition, the proprietary Duraflex jacket allows for flexibility, which is key, for in-car use.

This cable is of very good quality, as expected in Monster products. The quality of the audio reproduction is excellent.
One complaint - on my iPhone, when a call came in, when I attempted to answer the call with the caller's voice reproduced through my speakers, I got horrible distortion that made it impossible to do so. This wasn't the case with the previous cable I had (which, incidentally, was much cheaper!). As a result, I have to ignore all calls, disconnect the device from the cable, or use a blue tooth headset.

Connecting an iPod and other players into an "Aux-in" device to play on its sound system.
Once you tried to use off brand cables you will know the difference. The off brand cables many times just don't work due to imperfection of diameter measurements by being just a hair less than perfect. This cable was worth the extra Cents so we can enjoy full music going from any MP3 or portable player into any sound system big or small.

I use this in my car/home use. The cord is extremely durable and has great monster quality sound. Although its more expensive then some other cords, at B&H's price, its well worth it.

Used it for my iMac i5 late 09' model with razor mako
The product material is kind of old compared to modern rubbery materials but still good build quality, tho this product is a bit outdated
It does not fix the low static sound you get from iMac when plugged into Razor Mako, anything else works perfectly (nothing wrong with iMac or the Mako, just when they work together, there is a low static given off by the iMac)
