The Aspire One AOD250-1165 Netbook Computer from Acer is a compact netbook computer with a 10.1" LED Backlit LCD display. The 2.4 pound system won't weigh you down, and features 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and a spacious 160GB hard drive.
The system is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Processor N270 CPU and boasts 1GB of RAM. It features a memory card slot for digital photo import. Windows XP Home Edition is installed as the operating system.

I use this netbook for surfing the internet for research and typing school papers, for me its perfect is lightweight its small, and it does everything i need for my college classes. things that are great about it are that its fast enough for me to listen to music while also surfing the internet and writing an essay, ive never experienced any sort of slow down with it and the battery life is great, it has more than enough storage for all my music, and my pictures. I would without a doubt reccomend this to anyone who needs a good laptop for working with microsoft office and surfing the web

I would prefer if the Aspire One came with less software installed. I spent a lot of time uninstalling software I do not need, because it was slowing a the system. Processing could be faster though!

I like that I can use a device with a computer power on the go. Like the camera even if it is not with a big resolution. I think it is enough for taking pictures to be sent over the Web. Screen is nice. I can read even in bright sunlight. I would like if Acer makes it easy to boot more than one OS on the computer.

The Acer is faster than i imagined it to be. It also doesn't make loud humming noises like how i read in the other reviews. When it gets too heated, it hums softly once in a while but that's not a problem for me. Also, the color isn't as blue as it looks in the pictures. It's more of a dark navy color, and it's pretty close to being black. Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied with the product.

Purchased this for my daughter and she is thrilled with it. Great little compact size! Good value! The pre-loaded software package is great, but it would be nice to have the disks for it. It would also be nice to have more complete information about the software package included.

I bought this for my son (10y/o) and he loves it. Easy to surf the web and the keyboard works well for him. Easy to use and stable with XP. It is not as fast for heavy processor needs with some programs but that is not what we needed it for. I am pretty happy with the value.

Great item for the value. I can work while im on away from the office, and basically my needs are internet and Microsoft Office. The only thing which can be better is the 3 cell battery. But thats why there is versions with 6 cell. For me 3 cell version is quite enough.
