The Aspire AS5536-5883 Notebook Computer from Acer is a 15.6" notebook computer with a wide 16:9 aspect ratio LED backlit display. An excellent all-around system, the computer is perfect for e-mail, school work, financial management, and entertainment. Its multi-gesture trackpad and full-size keyboard make the computer a joy to use.
The system is powered by a 2.1GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 QL-64 Dual-Core CPU and boasts 3GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and an integrated webcam. Graphics are handled by the integrated ATI Radeon HD 3200 card, and Windows Vista Home Premium is installed as the operating system.

I purchased this laptop and have not been more pleased with it. It is very fast and the wirelsss feature is a great asset. It allows me to be on the go and have access to my files and email. I would most definitely recommed this to all of my friends and family.
The Capacity of this laptop is really good for the price; I couldn't find any other laptop with the same features for a low price. There are a couple of useless programs but I guess all Windows PCs have them (I just deleted them). The fan is a bit loud but it does its job. I liked the color but would've like to see more colors on this laptop to choose on. I use this Laptop for College and as far as efficiency and durability everything is just perfect .Haven't had any problem with it.
Good long lasting product have used and Sold Acer laptops for 5-Years. They have the lease amount of problems, then any other brand we sell.

The blue shell is nice although it picks up finger prints very easily. The speed of the computer is decent but the laptop does build a little heat. An Intel processor would have been a better choice for a cooler running computer. The fan is very loud! The Dolby speakers are a selling point but they are still low-quality laptop speakers. Acer should stop putting all the garbage software on the desktop. It is just one more thing that the user has to delete.

I needed a laptop for my current business solutions, this laptop is excellent for presentation and everyday tasks, though I do not heavily use it for productivity, since I have a desktop to handle the heavy duty applications and web design. I would not recommend this as a desktop replacement. Though to make a warning that this laptop does contain a slew of applications that are easily removable when you receive it. WINDOWS 7 FREE!!! so you really can not go wrong with this laptop...
