Comments about Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Micro 4/3 Zoom (Black):
Great lens very similar performance great color reproduction just like the original 4/3 14-42mm (both generations), very quick auto focus in good light. Like all Olympus products very sturdy and well built products at a great price i have been shooting Olympus for 3yrs and i haven't been disappointed. Only con is why did Olympus create the optional adapters for the Mark 2 (MSC) design only but i intend to purchase actually lens for the fish-eye effect and for macro.

Comments about Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Micro 4/3 Zoom (Black):
I got this lens as a kit with the E-P2. Since I have top notch lenses like the ZD 14-35 f2 which I think is an incredible achievement of current optical technology , and several last generation Leica M and Hasselblad lenses, I didn't expect much about this tiny and light plastic lens. I was totally wrong in my initial appreciation, this is a great little optical gem. Optically is very sharp with beautiful color rendition. It allows a great degree of print enlargement with excellent results. Built is quite good and strong even though is plastic. I'm using it a lot and now I'm planning to buy the new little ZD 9-18mm f4-5.6

Comments about Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Micro 4/3 Zoom (Black):
This a great all purpose lens for the E-P2. A terrific compliment to the 17mm f/2.8 I use indoors. The 14-42 is a relatively fast lens with a very useful zoom range. The 4/3 format is a compact size and this lens is not at all intrusive while giving effective focal lengths of 28mm to 84mm. Mounted on a tripod you can get great, sharp portraits if you are able to control the natural light. Zero complaints.

Comments about Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Micro 4/3 Zoom (Black):
In the micro 4/3 world, this lens is frequently overlooked. It's one of two kit lens choices with the E-P2, along with the 17mm pancake lens -- also a great lens. But the 14 - 42mm lens is really versatile in its focal lengths, in its size -- the lens collapses -- and in its being a work-horse of a lens. I just love it.
