The flash is great and very compact. It has more powerful than the on camera flash. However, you can not adjust the power. It is TTL or auto only.

Fits in the hotshoe. Good closure. Pen cameras are pretty good in low light, but sometimes even a small flash makes the difference.

A well-built, compact flash that 'talks' to the camera. Small enough to carry around with no problems but enough power to do the job. The only down side is having to put it on and take it off when needed. I use this for get-togethers and family photos.

Fast and easy to use - great to add the flash to the EP-1 and it works absolutely fine in a pocket or in my bag when not needed. I've found it to be a little overwhelming when on auto at less than a metre or two; the flash is happiest a little further away.

I purchased this to go with my E-P1, knowing that it lacks a built in flash. The flash is easy to use and produces decent results for an on-camera flash. Its limitations are the same as for built-in flashes, particularly on small cameras (red eye, over exposure, etc.). If you need fill in flash, this is a must and with some adjustments on the camera, the flash gets the job done.

I use the FL-14 flash primarily as a fill flash. It´s small and easy to use. Much better than any internal flash, but not as good as a "regular" external flash.
