Comments about LaCie Core4 USB 2.0 Hub (Blue):
For the price I wouldn't have expected such an elegant design. The centre piece slides out to reveal a hidden male usb and mini usb cable to plug into the usb port of your computer. The hub then conveniently has one port on the top (handy for those things you always keep plugged in) and two on the end. It has a little LED indicator, so you know if it's running. And it also includes a USB extension cable incase you have a certain place where you want to put it. Overall, great product!

It just works, I am using with 3 HDs attached to it and the top port for pen drives. I like the way the ports are organized. I am using it with mac os and it works as expected.

So useful, so portable, so tastefully designed... and inexpensive. Sockets hold USB plugs firmly and small leads fold up nicely without strain in critical areas.

Comments about LaCie Core4 USB 2.0 Hub (Blue):
My wife and I own a MacBook Pro. This nice little gadget helps us multiply our computer's own efficiency by adding 3 extra USB 2.0 hubs to it. The hub does come with an extra cable that connects to cell phones. The outside has a kind of simple yet cute finish in the style of many of other products by LaCie. If you like or need something that is functional and stylish at the same time, perhaps this is the product you are looking for.

Mini B male cable is about two inches long, and useless for me without an extension cable. Motorola Droid X will not communicate with Mac Mini computer when connected to this hub,

Use it with my MacBook because of lack of USB ports. Nice structure and pretty packable. I like the hub on top which I generally use for my oversized card reader.

Use this hub for up to 4 USB interfaces + a dedicated mini-USB for phones or cameras! The hub is smaller than a deck of card and is very solid to be thrown in and out of photography bags.
