The American Dynamics Dome Installation/Remover Tool is used when the dome is connected to an I/O board base. Thus, for routine servicing, a ladder does not need to be used. The tool is used to detach or attach the skirt or bubble from the housing during service. It also helps in connecting/disconnecting the dome from the base with the help of an I/O board.
The dome installation/remover tool's magnets help secure the bubble. Its T-lanyard helps prevent the skirt or bubble from falling. Thus, this tool proves to be quite handy for the installation/removal process of domes.
Telescopic Pole Required to Use Tool
The tool attaches to a telescopic pole similar to the type used to clean swimming pools. The pole should be 5 feet, 5 inches to 15 feet, 5 inches long and have a 1.170 inch inside diameter to accept the 1.125 inch diameter stem of the tool.
