I shoot alot of quick food shoots and need a light that I can easily and quickly control and the Ranger fills the bill! Love that I can dial it down and shoot wide open!

Comments about Elinchrom Ranger Quadra Head S Standard Set:
If it weren't for the battery now giving me a faulty Er1 error on the LCD display everytime I turn it on and rendering it unusable (after owning it for 6 weeks) I would have given it 5 stars; I've only used it on 3-4 shoots! So, with a 2 yr. limited warranty, have to call B&H to see what my options for repair are....not something I want to do with a full schedule ahead!Flashhead housing is plastic so should take precaution in not breaking something, but small as a Canon Speedlite.I love the fact I can adjust the power from the hot shoe transmitter and the 39" Rotalux Deep OctaBox in conjunction provides the perfect wrap-a-round lighting for fast run and gun shooting.
