I love that it goes on the quadra wihtout the adapter ring - but it is really difficult to put together -- making it less portable for its small size. My other elinchrome softboxes fold up easily leaving the metal ribs in place. This one you have to completely take apart to fold it up and it is not so easy to stretch the box over the rods.

- the product is great for travel - so small goes into the size of a small toiletries bag.
- good for lighting small areas
- it is smaller than I expected - make sure you check measurements to check it will do what you need it for.

I shoot on location out doors 100% of the time we have no inside studio. I keep this soft box on the head all the time it is small and easy to fit in the car on the head open. I shoot all people photos with groups as large as 30 people and this soft box and the Quadra works fantastic. I also use it for wedding formal photos and bride and groom photos the Quadra and this soft box are my everything light set up i use almost every day.

The soft box was easy to assemble. The light is great for close up product shots as well as portraits.

This is a nice option to have as a small softbox for the Ranger Quadra set. This is currently the only softbox available for the heads without using the adapter. It packs very small and seems durable. It provides nice even light. It took a while to setup the first time, but once you figure it out it's not too difficult.
