The D 7 SUR from Jamo is a premium 3-way speaker designed for easy integration with real-world living rooms. The speaker is THX Ultra2 certified for true cinema-quality sound. The speaker has a true dipolar design with a 5.5" woofer, dual 2.5" midrange drivers, and a pair of 1" dual concentric tweeters. When mounted on the side wall of your room, the speaker directs sound forward, backward, and out into the room to create 3-dimensional sound.
The tweeters feature dual-concentric diaphragms for extended frequency range, and also have center plugs instead of traditional dust caps. These plugs increase the tweeter's power handling and stabilize sound reproduction.
